We’ve had a great afternoon—with SaraBeth, Matt and Amanda. Great conversation and work this afternoon in prep for the meetings that start in about 45 minutes. We’ve had Thai for lunch and watched Matt have his first pedicure. Some down time now as we all rest a bit before gearing up to meet the other members of the advisory board, whom we only know through conference calls.
I’m surprised how strange it is to be back in Nashville and Franklin. So many different memories. Some so good they are painful.
We’re staying in an old, beautiful, very large home with rolling green yard—huge yard, with wild turkeys. Everyone else will be staying elsewhere, but we are staying here and it is really nice to be back with part of the “All-Star Kenya Team” as SaraBeth refers to our Kenya Mission Trip Team.
I’m dragging a bit, but will perk up for the evening. We will get to Skype with Peter who is working with orphans in Uganda. If anyone reads these rambling posts, prayers would be much appreciated.
