Words are important. Very. God chose the written word—scripture–as the vehicle through which we learn about Him.
And our words are important: They wound, they heal. They encourage, they strike down. They express loveliness, they express hatred.
A friend posted this video on his Facebook page tonight. It’s an advertisement, but I believe there is something we can learn from this short clip. Words and language are a gift from God. I must continually learn to use this gift with wisdom and respect, choosing to use my words to bless, not curse.
