I’m packed, ready to get on the road for the final leg of my trip to Charlotte. This morning I will meet with my Academic Advisor for the MDiv program. I feel very ill-prepared for the next two days. Maybe that is the way it is supposed to be.
I was very grateful for the night in Durham, but oh, how fast it flew by. I had hoped to get good scripture work and writing done, but instead found myself struggling to stay awake to do any, falling asleep around midnight with not much to show for the time I had set aside to do good work.
I’ve been awake since four this morning, mostly just anxious and antsy to be on my way, both literally and figuratively. I’ve had a great breakfast, enough for 6 people I’m sure. I love breakfast.
My schedule for the day:
Travel to Charlotte. 11:00 Meet Academic Advisor. Tour Samaritan’s feet. Spend evening with SaraBeth and Amanda Walton’s friend from Kenya. Prepare for tomorrow.
Prayers needed: My van is acting up terribly. I’m afraid it is the transmission. YIKES. Also, am in real need of clarity, settledness and confidence. And peaceful sleep. Pray for SaraBeth and I as we discuss the beginnings of a new mission organization: 127WorldWide.
